Reports To: Director of Chemical Laboratories Unit

Job Responsibilities

- Carry out tests, interpret results, and consider measurement uncertainty where applicable.
- Generate data and report test results according to relevant requirements.
- Keep technical records.
- Participate in the development, control, and monitoring of the implementation of Management System Documents.
- Participate in ensuring the validity of test results, method validation, and the evaluation of Measurement Uncertainty.
- Participate in internal laboratory audits and perform root cause analysis, correction, and corrective actions for identified nonconformities.
- keep assigned equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions or applicable work instructions.
- Ensure assigned equipment are calibrated.
- detect and order supplies (equipment, reagents, chemicals, and materials needed for analysis) with adequate technical specifications and verify them upon delivery.
- Train and coach students on attachment.
- Participate in quality control programs and produce statistical reports.
- Participate in the development of new test methods in collaboration with relevant specialists.
- Receive and ensure proper storage of test samples, chemicals, materials, and reagents.
- Participate in relevant technical committees in standards development as a resource person.
- produce and standardize solutions, materials, and reagents used in laboratory analyses.
- Participate in standardization activities.
- Perform any other activity assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry – 0 Year of relevant experience.
