Job Responsibilities

- help with plant disease diagnostics and pathology experiments.
- Collect and process plant samples for disease analysis.
- produce media, reagents, and solutions for laboratory use.
- keep accurate and detailed laboratory records, including sample information, diagnostic results, and experimental data.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and other relevant instruments.
- assist disease screening in laboratory and greenhouse settings.
- Analyze data and produce technical reports.
- Ensure implementation of biosafety and waste management procedures.
- deliver technical assist to plant pathologists, researchers, and other laboratory personnel.
- Ensure timely planning, requisition, and procurement of laboratory materials, consumables, and equipment.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for personnel, customers, equipment, and facilities.
- Ensure effective and efficient management of resources and assets under responsibility.
- assist laboratory inventory management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Protection – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Plant Pathology – 5 Years of relevant experience.
