Reports To: Plant & Microbial Biotechnology Program Coordinator / Senior Principal Research Fellow

Job Responsibilities

- Plan and perform plant disease diagnostics, screening, and characterization for target crops.
- create, optimize, and execute laboratory protocols for plant pathology applications.
- execute disease resistance efficacy assessments for transgenic and gene-edited events under containment conditions.
- Generate pathology data to assist regulatory, environmental, and food/feed safety dossiers.
- produce technical reports and scientific publications.
- create and execute SOPs for plant pathology and disease diagnostics.
- assist disease monitoring during greenhouse and confined field trials.
- Supervise pathology technicians and assist staff.
- Contribute to training and mentorship of technical staff and students.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

- Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry – 10 Years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Crop Production – 10 Years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Crop Science – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Master's Degree in Crop Production – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Protection – 10 Years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Biotechnology – 10 Years of relevant experience.
- Master’s Degree in Crop Protection – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Master’s Degree in Plant Biotechnology – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology – 10 Years of relevant experience.
- Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Master's Degree in Plant Pathology – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Master's Degree in Crop Science – 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Master’s Degree in Biochemistry – 5 Years of relevant experience.
