Aquaculture and Fisheries Program Coordinator Senior Research Fellow

Job responsibilities

  • perform water quality analysis including pH, ammonia, dissolved oxygen and nitrate levels
  • Perform microbiological and parasitological tests to diagnose fish diseases
  • Analyze fish samples to assess health status and nutritional deficiencies
  • keep and calibrate laboratory equipment for accurate results
  • Document test results and produce reports for hatchery and farm management
  • help with the development of fish health management protocols
  • Ensure compliance with biosecurity and laboratory safety regulations
  • deliver technical assist to hatchery and farm staff regarding fish health
  • perform research on disease prevention, nutrition and water treatment techniques

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences - 3 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology - 3 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology - 3 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology - 3 Years of relevant experience
