REPORTS TO Director of Clinical Education Directorate

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize, and execute Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs for healthcare professionals.

• Assess training and learning needs of doctors, nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, and other staff.

• create annual CPD plans and training calendars.

• Organize workshops, seminars, conferences, grand rounds, and online learning activities.

• organize CPD accreditation and ensure compliance with professional regulatory requirements.

• keep records of CPD activities, attendance, credits, and certificates.

• track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and produce reports.

• Collaborate with clinical departments, professional councils, universities, and external partners.

• assist the use of e-learning platforms and other digital learning tools.

• Promote evidence-based practice, research dissemination, and lifelong learning among staff.

• oversee budgets and logistics related to CPD activities.

• Ensure CPD programs align with hospital priorities, patient safety goals, and national health policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery – Minimum 3 Years of Relevant Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – Minimum 3 Years of Relevant Experience

• Master's Degree in Nursing – Minimum 1 Year of Relevant Experience

• Master's Degree in Midwifery – Minimum 1 Year of Relevant Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Allied Science – Minimum 3 Years of Relevant Experience

• Master's Degree in Allied Science – Minimum 1 Year of Relevant Experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATE

• Valid License to Practice issued by the relevant Professional Council in Rwanda
