Director of Medical Equipment and Infrastructure Development Unit

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate deep knowledge in supply chain management.

• oversee medical equipment control and asset management activities.

• Ensure data quality management and reporting.

• assist medical equipment maintenance and management.

• Apply risk management principles in medical equipment operations.

• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations for preservation and use of medical equipment.

• Utilize knowledge of medical equipment applications, quality assurance, planning, and organizational management.

• Apply strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.

• Use computer applications relevant to biomedical and clinical engineering services.

• Solve complex technical and operational problems related to medical equipment.

• Communicate effectively in Kinyarwanda, English, and/or French. Knowledge of all three languages is an added advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering

• Advanced Diploma in Biomedical Engineering

• Advanced Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering

• Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Engineering

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Engineering

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Equipment Technology

• Advanced Diploma in Clinical Engineering

• Advanced Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Technology

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology

Experience Required: 0 Years

REQUIRED CERTIFICATE

• Valid License to Practice issued by the relevant Professional Council in Rwanda

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Confidentiality, ethical perform, and teamwork skills

• Knowledge of clinical services policies and procedures

• Knowledge of the Rwanda Health System

• Knowledge of rules and regulatory affairs related to medical equipment

• General knowledge of supply chain management
