RWANDA - CALL FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION.

PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR SUPPLIES, SERVICES AND WORKS IN RWANDA.

1.) Description of the organization and its activities.

Malteser International is the humanitarian relief agency of the Catholic Sovereign Order of Malta, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people affected by crises, conflict and displacement. We deliver emergency relief, rehabilitation and long-term development help with partnership with governments, local organizations and communities.

In 2025, Malteser International reached more than 8 million people in need across 33 countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. In East Africa, we have extensive experience in health systems strengthening and emergency medical services. To reinforce our long-term commitment to the country, Malteser International was officially registered in Rwanda in 2026.

Malteser International is therefore inviting bids for pre-qualification of suppliers and service providers in Rwanda. ALL interested eligible suppliers/ service providers should submit their bids for the following categories.

CAT _011 Supply of fuel, Gas, oil and Lubricants.

CAT _012 Supply of Medical supplies, Pharmaceutical Supplies and services like Personal protective Equipment, drugs/medicines etc.).

- Bidding is open to all qualified providers in accordance with Malteser International Logistics Guidelines.

- The bid document may be obtained by sending a formal email tologistics.uganda@malteser-international.orgwith a subject as “REQUEST FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION BIDING DOCUMENT and indicate the Category you are interested in.

- Bid submission deadline is 21st August 2026.

- If you submit your bid and do not hear from us within 2 months after the closing date, please consider your bid unsuccessful.

- This is only an Invitation for pre-qualification and submission of application does not result in any contractual relationship between the bidder and Malteser International
