The Development Bank of Rwanda wishes to invite all interested, experienced and qualified companies to submit their best proposals to supply Solar PV Hybrid System for its head office.

In this regard, The Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD) would like to invite all interested and qualified bidders to participate in tender to submit their technical and financial proposals in accordance with the technical specifications provided in the Request for Bids.

The Request for Bid in English may be obtained from procurement office from 30th April 2026 during office hours (8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Local time)The interested bidder must pay a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Rwandan Francs (20,000 Frw) deposited on the account Nº 4414310784 of BRD opened in BPR Bank Rwanda Plc.

Mandatory visit is planned to take place on 7 /05/2026 at BRD Head Office at 10:00AM

Mandatory presentation of the proposal to take place on 25 /5 /2026

Well bound and sealed bids printed in 1 original hard copy should be mandatory submitted in the BRD procurement office, not later than21 /05/2026, at 10:00am local time. one soft copy well protected with password must be submitted on the following email procurement@brd.rw,brd@brd.rw.

The bids shall be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who wish to attend the opening session at BRD headquarters – Nyarugenge District, Nyarugenge Sector, Kigali City immediately after submission of bids in the BRD meetingroom and via Microsoft Teams.

Please note that the bids will be put in an envelope indicating the name, the address of the prospective bidder and title of the tender which will be marked as follows:

The selection of the best bidder and award of the contract will be based on the conformance of the technical specification, rated criteria and financial offer. Only the best bidder will be invited for contract negotiations.

The proposal will be opened immediately in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who wish to attend the opening session, which will take place in the BRD meetingroom and via Microsoft Teams.

Women guide companies are encouraged to participate in this tender.
