📄 Job Description

Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

create and execute procurement plans, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to forecast demand and keep optimal inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Analyze expenditure and execute cost-control strategies aligned with organizational goals.
oversee the tendering process, including prequalification, RFP preparation, evaluation, and contract award.
Supervise and assist the procurement team to ensure efficiency and adherence to best practices.
Utilize ERP and e-procurement systems for inventory tracking, reporting, and decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in procurement, preferably in a hospital setting.
Master's degree in a related field is an added advantage.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
High level of integrity and understanding of ethical procurement practices.
