Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and keep water supply pipelines, fittings, meters, valves, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Connect new customers to the water distribution network and implementation of water network extension projects.
• Inspect pipelines to detect leaks, blockages, and potential faults; repair burst or leaking pipes promptly.
• perform routine inspections of the water distribution network.
• help with meter replacement, relocation, or installation.
• Record keeping and reporting to his/her direct supervisor at designated time and with WASAC's reporting Platform
• assist commercial services as required.
• Keep working environment clean, safe and well organized
• keep accurate records of repairs, installations, and materials used; produce daily/weekly reports.
• Report major faults immediately to supervisors or technical teams.
• Participate in emergency response during pipe bursts or service interruptions.
• Perform any other plumbing-related tasks assigned by the supervisor

Minimum required Qualifications

Secondary School Certificate A-Level (A2)or Advanced Diploma in Water Works, Water Engineering, Construction, Public Works, General Mechanics, Manufacturing Technology, Production Technology, Plumbing, Masonry, construction. Having Driving license (category A) for Plumbers is an added advantage
