Founded in 1997 by World Relief as Urwego Community Banking, the bank joined the HOPE International network in 2005, shortly after Peter Greer became HOPE’s president. In 2007, the bank merged with Opportunity International Bank of Rwanda to become Urwego Opportunity Bank.With the approval of the National Bank of Rwanda, Opportunity International sold its 50 percent ownership of Urwego to HOPE International in 2017, making HOPE a 99 percent shareholder in the bank, with World Relief continuing to own 1 percent. “We are delighted to deepen our long-standing partnership with Urwego,” said Greer. “We are confident in Urwego’s team and have seen their example of Christ-like servant leadership. TITLE: Request for quotation of Urwego Finance Website Redesign.

Urwego Finance CBC hereby invites interested professional companies to submit their financial proposal for Urwego Finance Website Redesign.

Please note also the following,

  • All the quotations should be submitted in sealed envelopes with the following mentions: “RFQ-2026/07/Bus/LOG/004 Urwego Finance Website Redesign, and submitted to the bank’s reception at its head office located at , Plot 428, KN5 RD, UMUYENZI PLAZA, Remera Sector,Gasabo, Tel. +250 788173100, 
  • The quotations received, and acknowledged at the HO, will be opened and analyzed for selection by the Urwego Tender Committee Members who will thereafter inform each bidder of the selection decision. 
  • The quotations should include the VAT certificate along with a valid tax clearance issued by RRA, 
  • The quotations should include RDB registration document (Registre de Commerce) and note that the bidder should be in the field tying with this present tender and experience of 5 years 
  • The bidder should present 3 completion certificates or other document to proof similar work from reputable institutions to substantiate his competency and ability  as per this tender purpose.
  • The payment will be done per phases after deliverancy and acceptance from Urwego Finance side
  • The bidder should present the company profile and atleast other related certicates related to the software development
  • The selected bidder will be ready and felexible to collaborate with Urwego Finance team for assist and training without additional cost
