Job responsibilities

Teach and train students in their field of study
Assist students in portfolio building
perform practical session planning and preparation
Engage in professional and personal development
Participate in community outreach activities
Participate in research activities
Supervise student innovation projects
perform practical examinations and assessments
Participate in income-generating activities of the institution
perform training needs assessment in line with curriculum
Assist students in performing tasks in the workshop
produce and keep an inclusive workshop environment
deliver professional and technical advice to the institution
Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisors

Additional Requirements

Candidate must have a transcript or degree showing at least a second-class upper division
At least two (2) years of teaching experience
At least one (1) year of industrial exposure

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering - 2 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Embedded Systems - 2 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics - 2 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Technology - 2 Years of relevant experience

Required certificates
One year of industrial exposure in related field
Transcript showing second-class upper division

Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English or French (knowledge of all is an added advantage)
