JOB SUMMARY

The Head of Health Center is tasked with overseeing and coordinating all health center activities in accordance with plans and instructions developed by the Health Center Health Committee. The position ensures effective implementation of committee decisions and efficient management of human resources, supplies, revenues, and physical assets to achieve organizational goals.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• organize all health center activities.

• Ensure patients receive care in a clean and safe environment and take corrective action when standards are not met.

• guide infection prevention and control initiatives and address poor practices.

• perform root cause analyses and create action plans to enhance service delivery.

• keep effective communication with patients, relatives, and staff to resolve complex issues and conflicts.

• track and keep high clinical standards across clinical teams.

• Ensure nursing and other staff comply with established policies and procedures.

• oversee staff performance reviews and appraisals.

• assist the development and implementation of health training programs.

• Collaborate with District Hospitals to track staff training and capacity-building activities.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

• produce and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced Diploma (A1) in General Nursing
