Full-Stack Web Developer Intern 

Build complete web applications for our clients, front end and back end, from the database to the user interface to the live site. 

About us 

RW Digital Solutions Ltd is a Kigali-based digital company. We build websites, web and mobile applications, dashboards, portals and IT systems, and run social media marketing for businesses and organisations across Rwanda. 

What you will do 

UI/UX design 

• Turn client requirements into wireframes and interface designs in Figma. 

Front end 

• Build responsive, mobile-friendly user interfaces with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, using React or a similar framework. 
• Turn designs and wireframes into working pages, including dashboards and client portals. 
• Connect interfaces to APIs and manage forms, validation and user sessions. 
• Optimise pages for speed, accessibility and search engines. 

Back end 

• Build REST APIs and server-side logic with Node.js, Python (Django) or PHP (Laravel). 
• Design and oversee databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL), including user accounts and role-based access. 
• Integrate services such as MTN MoMo and Airtel Money payments, SMS, email and maps. 
• Secure applications with proper authentication, data protection and backups. 

Delivery 

• Deploy and keep sites and applications, including hosting, domains and SSL. 
• Use Git for all code and submit work for code evaluate before release. 
• Test and fix bugs, and write handover notes and user guides for clients. 
• deliver basic IT setup and assist for clients and the office. 

Website content and moderation 

• Update and publish content on the company website and client websites. 
• Moderate comments, reviews, form submissions and listings, and remove spam and inappropriate content. 
• track websites for broken links, outdated information and suspicious activity.

Other duties 

• Any other ad hoc duties assigned by your supervisor or the CEO. 

What The organization is seeking 

Open to recent graduates (within the last two years) and final-year students. 

Required 

• Degree or diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field, or a coding academy or bootcamp graduate with an equivalent portfolio. 
• At least two full-stack web projects you built, covering both front end and back end (GitHub links or live sites). 
• Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and experience with a front-end framework such as React. 
• Back-end experience with Node.js, Django or Laravel, including building APIs and working with SQL databases. 
• Git, and good working English. 

Nice to have 

• Next.js or TypeScript. 
• UI/UX design experience in Figma. 
• WordPress site building. 
• Experience with mobile money APIs, Docker or cloud hosting. 
• Flutter or React Native.
