Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance of electro-mechanical systems
  • Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures,
  • templates, and microscopes
  • Repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to
  • meet operational specifications and tolerances
  • Read, interpret and follow work instructions, SOPs, blueprints, diagrams, engineering
  • drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Inspect electromechanical equipment to ensure it meets design specifications
  • Test the performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments suc as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, alignment tools, electronic voltmeters, bridges, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in electro-mechanical systems
  • Follow all safety protocols in the operation and maintenance of electromechanical syscems
  • Work closely with the water treatment and production teams to ensure the smooth operation of the water supply process
  • Ability to work under pressure to perform curative maintenance
  • Keep working environment clean, safe and well organized
  • Record keeping and reporting to his/her direct supervisor at designated time and with WASAC's reporting Platform.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned.

 

Minimum required Qualifications

A Secondary School Certificate A-Level (A2) or Advanced Diploma in Mathematic-ChemistryPhysics; Mathematic-Physics-Computer, Public Works, Plumbing, Electro-mechanics, General mechanics, Heavy Machinery, Production Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Electrical Technology, Electricity, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Electronics and Welding Technology.
