JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assess patient‟s general health status.
2. produce a nursing care plan according to the needs and area of collaborate with the help of other healthcare professionals.
3. Document and communicate actions to keep continuity of care among the nursing team.
4. Assume and keep the patient and his environment hygiene and infection control.
5. Record, report and track vital signs, symptoms and changes in patient's conditions and signs with the staff's full name.
6. Record manually and/or electronically patient information.
7. Deliver detailed instructions and information to patients/families in collaboration with the physician.
8. produce and take ward rounds with physicians.
9. Educate the patient and his/her family on their roles in promoting successful therapy and rehabilitation.
10. Administer and document medications as prescribed, without hesitation collaborate with prescriber physicians and sign.
11. Take care of all materials and equipment at the disposal of the service.
12. Engage in research activities related to nursing and mentor nursing students in the clinical practice.
13. Deliver detailed nursing instructions to patients for discharge.
14. produce patients for examinations.
15. produce rooms and decontaminate equipment and instruments.
16. Attend educational workshops to enhance professional and technical knowledge.
17. Assist doctors during surgery.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced Diploma in Nursing sciences with registration in certificate and valid license to practice in Rwanda.

5 Years of relevant experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES

• License certificate of the National Council for Nurses and Midwifery
