UI/UX Designer Responsibilities:

• perform user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs. 
• Create user personas, journey maps, user flows, and information architecture. 
• Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces. 
• create responsive UI designs for web and mobile applications. 
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle. 
• keep and enhance the organization's design system and UI component library. 
• Ensure consistency in branding and user experience across all digital platforms. 
• perform usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback. 
• collaborate with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs. 
• Optimize applications for accessibility, responsiveness, and usability. 
• Stay updated with emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices. 
• Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and product demonstrations within Agile teams. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 2–5 years of professional UI/UX design experience. 
• Strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile application design projects. 
• Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools. 
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, or ProtoPie. 
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles. 
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design methodologies. 
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development processes. 
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts is an advantage. 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience designing enterprise applications. 
• Experience creating design systems. 
• Familiarity with Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines. 
• Experience designing dashboards, ERP systems, fintech, healthcare, or government digital solutions. 
• Knowledge of animation and micro-interactions. 
• Experience with AI-assisted design tools.
