Reports To:
Consultant Doctor, Accident & Emergency Department / Head of Department

Key Responsibilities:

  • deliver emergency and inpatient medical care.
  • Assess, diagnose, stabilize, and treat patients.
  • create treatment plans and perform ward rounds.
  • Order investigations, medications, and therapies.
  • Write prescriptions, admission notes, and progress reports.
  • Educate and counsel patients.
  • Follow up on investigations and oversee patient records.
  • produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in General Medicine.
  • Valid registration certificate and medical practice license in Rwanda.
  • Certified Medical Officer.
  • Completion of the public service agreement period is mandatory.

Experience:

  • 0 years required.
